ABOUT THE DOCTOR

Dr. Chow was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to an immigrant family. She attended the University of Miami on scholarship and majored in Microbiology and Immunology. Upon completing her Bachelor of Science degree, she attended the University of California Berkeley’s School of Optometry where she ranked top 15% in her class for clinical management. She is residency trained at the State University of New York School of Optometry with special emphasis in LASIK pre- and post- operative management and contact lenses. She also served as an assistant clinical instructor at SUNY and was awarded the Douglas W. Hopkins Primary Care Residency Award in 2013 by the American Optometric Foundation in recognition of her passion and commitment to practice, research, and education in primary care.

She is currently the practice owner of Clear Concepts Optometry and serves as the Trustee of Programs and Events to the Santa Clara County Optometric Society. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association. Dr. Chow speaks both Chinese and Spanish.

In her spare time, she enjoys being involved with her church, volunteering both locally and abroad, dancing and exercising.
